The summer travel season is here and this issue of Parks & Travel Magazine goes global from beautiful Wester Ross, Scotland to the Caribbean’s tropical ABC Islands, and explores America from wonderful Whidbey Island, Washington to charming St. Simons Island, Georgia, along with historic and wild Seminole County, Florida and the high plains of Weld County, Colorado. There’s advice on how to plan a family vacation, and travel guides covering select park destinations in California, Nevada, Arizona, Kentucky and Louisiana. Other features include history and the arts, music and books, sustainable tourism and hospitality news.
In this issue, we’re also excited to announce our Craven Raven Cocktail Recipe Contest that has some awesome prizes, and our Big Blend “Hola! To Hi Y’all” Road Trip Adventure that hits the road this fall. On a mission to gather enough footage for 2-3 years of editorial, radio and video coverage in Parks & Travel Magazine, this Big Blend Spirit of America adventure will start in Yuma, Arizona “The Gateway of the Great Southwest,” and then head east to Central Kentucky “The Land of Bourbon, Horses & History,” and will then loop down to Florida’s Panhandle region, and back to our home base of Tucson, Arizona.
