Valentines Wine of Week!
La Rosa Raventos 2013 Penedès, Spain Rosè
The Penedès region which is just outside Barcelona also boasts architecture from Modernist Gaudi. This Pinot Noir cava rosè was aged in stainless steel tanks, it starts with light effervescence and graduates to delicate rose and hinting of strawberry, cherry and pine. Well-balanced and dry, pair with tuna or red snapper with citrus.

Chocolatey Bourbon! Benjamin Prichard's Double Chocolate Kelso, TN Bourbon
Aged in charred American oak barrels for nine years and again for 3-5 years ending with a chocolate infusion from Olive & Sinclair Chocolate Company. It is complex yet mellow and tastes of caramel and toffee with a hint of cocoa. This small batch bourbon is rated 94 pts in Jim Murray's Whiskey Bible. Pairs beautifully w/ our Chocolate Scrumptious Brownies!

Gavroche French Red Ale
Brasserie De Saint-Sylvestre 8.5% ABV
Who says you have to stick with wine for Valentines? This very bubbly and medium bodied red ale tastes of dried cherries, floral, caramel and a hoppy finish. The Brasserie is in the Flanders region, the northern most area of France, known as the "flat region" and for its Flemish culture. Bring this to share with your possibly-could be-defintely hope for Valentine!
