Mad River Brewing Co. 26th Anniversary Cali Imperial Cream Stout 9% ABV
Aromas of dark chocolate w/ light coffee notes and vanilla. Chocolaty velvety cream flavors coat the palate, with subtle hints of oak and roast malts. Finishes smooth and creamy w/ a kiss of bitter. Pairs w/ Moody blue is a classic blue cheese, which is delightfully creamy with a subtle smokey flavour. Made from the freshest Wisconsin cow milk, it is smoked over fruit wood which results in a sultry, mouth watering flavour with hints of roasted nuts and coffee. Pairs great w/ Stout! & Adelegger is a firm cheese aged for 12-17 months. It is cooked, pressed, and brined in an herb-infused white wine for 48 hours. After these first few steps Adelegger is washed daily for 4-5 weeks and then moved to an aging facility nearby where it matures for up to 17 months.
