Dear Stargazers,

Here in the northern hemisphere, summer will soon give way to autumn as t
he Sun will makes its annual ingress (entry) into Libra on Sept. 22 and announces the arrival of fall. Personally, I always find the crisp autumn weather invigorating, plus I love knowing that I'll soon be back to wearing my comfortable (and always stylish) ankle boots.

Notable Aspects

During the coming weeks, transiting Neptune will be involved in some challenging aspects in the heavens (September 19, 24 and 29). For insight into these energies, visit my Facebook page (which automatically posts to Twitter). I usually post such information the day before the aspect occurs. This way, you have guidance while its energy - and influence - is building, because by the time it's exact, the event has already occurred, the energy is released and the influence begins to fade.

I know many of you don't use social media, but I simply don't have time to write about them here. Fortunately, you don't need an account to view these posts on Twitter. If it happens to be a long post, you can click the FB link you'll be able to view the entire post without a FB account.

In other news ...
October is shaping up to be quite an exciting month for me.  Besides launching a new website and preparing for a new radio show, next month I'll be teaching/attuning my first Reiki I student.

I earned my Reiki Master Teacher designation on 8/20, which was the day before the solar eclipse. In my chart, the eclipse made tight connections to my natal Pluto (conjunction), Mercury (trine) and Jupiter (sextile) that speak to a new beginning connected to energy healing/teaching, as well as to psychic/mediumship abilities and radio/broadcasting.

I had been encouraged to study Reiki for years but honestly had no interest in doing so. As it happened, Spirit had other ideas. I suddenly found myself interested, and literally within a few days the perfect teacher for me.  When I began my study, I did so purely for my own benefit and had no intention of practicing it on others or teaching it. Once again, Spirit had other ideas. Will I be offering classes for it? No, that's not my path, but I will continue to teach students that (like this one) Spirit specifically sends my way.
In the meantime, Valentino will celebrate his 8th birthday on September 28. When I brought him home as a Christmas gift for my mom, he was a lovable tiny ball of fur with a tongue that was way too big for his mouth. At the time, we thought his body would catch up to it, but as you can see, we were dead wrong!

That never ending tongue continues to amaze, entertain and be the butt of countless jokes. Fortunately, Mr. V has a sense of humor (and so do we!).

BEST DAYS

While there are other days during this time frame that are fine, these are the best of the bunch. What do I mean by the best? The energy is flowing, the moon isn't void and there's a greater likelihood for happy and/or productive outcomes.

BEST AVOIDED

The energies on these days aren't favorable for new ventures or any activity where you want or need a definite result. If you must schedule something, you may have to think on your feet, or there may be a need for patience or flexibility.

NEW MOON IN VIRGO
September 20, 2017 | 1:30 AM ET
Washington, DC

As the sixth sign of the natural zodiac, Virgo rules work and practical service, health, nutrition, fitness, pets and the daily routine.

New moons are about beginnings and initiation, and the Virgo new moon is an excellent time to start a new job search, diet or fitness plan. If you're an employer, this new moon can help you attract reliable employees; and on a similar note, if a new pet has been on your wish list, this new moon may bring one into your life.

As it happens, Mercury, Mars and Venus are also in Virgo, which means this new moon chart is saturated in energy that's analytical, logical, critical, efficient and hard working. This new moon chart isn't about taking it easy; it's about rolling up your sleeves and making short work of your to-do list. However, a quincunx to Uranus suggests that whether you're counting on human resources or financial ones, things may not go quite as planned. Having a backup plan is definitely the way to go.
Getting Personal

So which life areas are being targeted in your life by this new moon? They're revealed by the house in your horoscope that's hosting this new moon. If you don't know which house holds  27°27' Virgo in your chart, you can learn which house holds the new moon in your solar chart (this is Sun-sign based astrology) by locating your Sun sign in the list below.

If your Sun is in:

Aries, it falls in your solar 6th house (health, work, pets, diet, nutrition).
Taurus, it falls in your solar 5th house  (romance, children, creative self-expression, entertainment).
Gemini, it falls in your solar 4th house (home, family, real estate, parents).
Cancer, it falls in your solar 3rd house
(siblings, neighbors, short trips, cars, contracts, negotiations).
Leo, it falls in your solar 2nd house (income, spending, personal values, self-esteem, tangible assets).
Virgo, it falls in your solar 1st house (your physical body, attitude towards life).
Libra, it falls in your solar 12th house (spirituality, creativity, mental health, addictions).
Scorpio, it falls in your solar 11th house (groups, associations, hopes, casual friends, colleagues).
Sagittarius,it falls in your solar 10th house (career, fame, status, reputation)
Capricorn, it falls in your solar 9th house (education, law, religion, foreign and long-distance travel, publishing).
Aquarius, the eclipse falls in your solar 8th house (intimacy, shared resources, other people's support, birth, death, estate matters).
Pisces, the eclipse falls in your solar 7th house (marriage and all one-to-one relationships including best friends, adversaries, business partners and clients).

Manifesting with the Virgo New Moon

You can set any intention under any new moon but when it's in Virgo, it's especially favorable for:

Actions, intentions and affirmations to obtain new employment, increase job satisfaction, enhance employee relationships, acquire new job skills, improve your daily routines, find skilled accountants, physical trainers, massage therapists or veterinarians, or to improve the health, exercise and diet for ourselves and/or our pets.

Closing Thoughts

To those of you who will celebrate Rosh Hashanah this week, Shana Tova!

To everyone: Happy Fall!

May Jupiter's blessings be your constant companion,

Debra Anne Clement
