Dear Stargazers,

To those of you who are still waiting for Your Jupiter Story, rest assured you'll receive your reading as promised (no later than 21 days after purchase).

Speaking of Jupiter, the big astrological story is its upcoming ingress (entry) into Scorpio on October 10. How do you make the most of this cycle? I'm glad you asked, because this issue is full of helpful insights to help you do just that!

That said, Jupiter's ingress into Scorpio pales by comparison to Saturn's ingress into its own sign (Capricorn) on December 19, and it's not just because the cycle is longer (about 2.5 years) and that Saturn in Capricorn is about perseverance and mastery. It's also because on January 12, 2020, Saturn will catch up to Pluto and these two planets will form a conjunction at 22° Capricorn.

Everyone will feel this conjunction, and If you have any planet at or near 22° Capricorn, Aries, Libra or Cancer, this Saturn/Pluto conjunction is going to change your life.

It's certainly going to change mine. January 12 is my birthday and yes, this conjunction will be in my solar return chart and influencing me for an entire year.

Since Pluto will reach 21° Capricorn next year, I know a transformational journey is in my future. Having already experienced Pluto conjunct my Moon, Jupiter, Neptune, North Node, Descendant, Saturn, Mars and Mercury (not to mention squaring my Midheaven, Chiron and Venus), I consider myself an expert on how to survive (and even thrive) while living under Pluto. And no, it isn't easy, and yes, there are often major losses but Pluto always replaces what it takes with something even richer. That's not to say you stop caring about what (or who) you lost, but you do come to understand and accept it.

As for the Saturn/Pluto conjunction, if it's going to impact your chart start paying close attention in 2018 because as Pluto reaches 21° Capricorn, it will offer clues as to what you can expect from the conjunction.

This Saturn transit is also very important one here in the USA because as it moves through Capricorn, Saturn will at various times oppose the nation's Sun, Mercury, Venus & Jupiter, square it's Saturn and Chiron, quincunx its Mars and Uranus,  trine its Neptune and ultimately conjunct its Pluto. The Saturn/Pluto conjunction will oppose the USA's Mercury while quincunxing its Mars and trining its Neptune. Not too long after, the  nation will experience its Pluto return. By the time this conjunction is over, we'll understand the type of rebirth that the Pluto return will bring.

But back to the present. Saturn is about cause and effect. In short, you reap what you sow. If you have any planets or sensitive points in Capricorn, Cancer, Aries or Libra, some of you will be rewarded while others will be penalized depending on past actions. I know that sounds a bit harsh, but that's reality (which Saturn just happens to rule). Fortunately, even if Saturn slaps you down, it will stick around to help you rebuild.

On the other hand, many of you will be happy when Saturn visits your horoscope. If your Sun is in Taurus and Virgo, you may have plenty of reason to smile while those born under Pisces and Scorpio will enjoy steadfast support. If you were born with a Gemini or Leo Sun, you may be called upon to make some type of adjustments, and if you're a Sagittarius or Aquarius sun sign, there's a chance that you might be able to just sit back and enjoy the ride.

And that my friends is why Saturn's upcoming visit to Capricorn is so important. I'll be talking much more about this topic, and yes, there will be a special offer to help you make the most of it along with special pricing for newsletter subscribers only so be sure to open every issue.

In the meantime, let's take a peek at the planetary weather for the next two weeks to see what the Aries full moon and Jupiter's ingress into Scorpio may mean for you!

FULL MOON 12°43' ARIES
October 5, 2017 | 2:40 PM
Washington, DC

If you've been feeling in need of some instant gratification, you're most likely feeling the influence of the upcoming full moon, which just happens to be drenched in the impatient, impulsive, heroic and headstrong energy of the Ram.

With an Aries moon and a Libra sun, the axis of relationship is highlighted. This full moon squares Pluto, making the natural ruler of power, control and shared resources, the focal point of a cardinal T-square (a dynamic planetary pattern known for its tension-producing qualities).

This suggests that if there have been issues related to control or shared resources in a partnership, they're likely to come to a head. Since the full moon falls across the 3/9 houses (the axis of communications), a verbal battle would be more likely than not.

On another note, In this chart, Pluto rules the 10th house (status, honors and reputation), and with the moon in Aries (the individual) in the 3rd house and the sun in Libra (a partnership) in the 9th, there may be a contest of wills related to who gets credit for an idea or a theory.

How to handle this energy? Your best bet for diffusing the intense emotions of the Aries moon is to tap into the tactful, fair and objective energy of the Libra sun.

Let's Get Personal

Since a full moon involves the sun and the oon, it falls across two houses in the horoscope. The house that holds the Moon is where the action is in your chart, and something related to one (or more) of the life areas ruled by it may come to fruition, a crossroads or an ending. However, while the moon is lighting up one house, the Sun is lighting up the opposite one. Since houses work in pairs, you should consider the life areas ruled by the opposite house as well.

If you don't know which house holds 12°43' of Aries in your horoscope, you can refer to the below to find out which house the full moon falls in your solar (sun-sign based) chart.

If your Sun sign is:

Aries, it falls in your 1st house (your physical body, attitude towards life). Read the 7th house as well.
Taurus, it falls in your 12th house (spirituality, creativity, mental health, addictions). Read the 6th house as well.
Gemini, it falls in your 11th house (groups, associations, hopes, casual friends, colleagues). Read the 5th house as well.
Cancer, it falls in your 10th house (career, fame, status, reputation). Read the 4th house as well.
Leo, it falls in your 9th house (education, law, religion, foreign and long-distance travel, publishing). Read the 3rd house as well.
Virgo, it falls in your 8th house (intimacy, shared resources, other people's support, birth, death, estate matters). Read the 2nd house as well.
Libra, it falls in your 7th house (marriage and all one-to-one relationships including best friends, adversaries, business partners and clients). Read the 1st house as well.
Scorpio, it falls in your 6th house (health, work, pets, diet, nutrition). Read the 12t house as well.
Sagittarius, it falls in your 5th house (romance, children, creative self-expression, entertainment). Read the 11th house as well.
Capricorn, it falls in your 4th house (home, family, real estate, parents). Read the 10th house as well.
Aquarius, it falls in your solar 3rd house (siblings, neighbors, short trips, cars, contracts, negotiations.). Read the 9th house as well.
Pisces, it falls in your 2nd house (income, spending, personal values, self-esteem, tangible assets). Read the 8th house as well.

RELEASING WITH THE ARIES FULL MOON

Once the full moon peaks, the next step is to release any attachment to it. That's why, the period of time between the full moon and the next new moon (the time while the moon is waning or disappearing from sight) is energetically ripe for releasing things from our life.

You can release anything under any full moon, but since this one is saturated in Aries energy, it's especially helpful for releasing:

Negative beliefs, fears or circumstances related to your body, your ambition or your leadership ability.

Traits or tendencies
to be impatient, impulsive, reckless, egotistical, hotheaded or a bully.
JUPITER IN SCORPIO
Oct. 10, 2017 - Nov. 9, 2018

Jupiter didn't earn its title as the Greater Benefic by showing up empty handed. Will you be on the receiving end of some Jupiter goodness? Read on!
Naturally, it depends on your personal horoscope, but if you had a lucky break between October 25, 2005 - November 24, 2006 (the last time Jupiter was in Scorpio), you may enjoy a repeat performance.

If you were born under the sign of Scorpio, at some point Jupiter will make a conjunction to your natal Sun. A conjunction is a powerful aspect that usually coincides with beginnings and/or endings. If it's time for something to leave your life, Jupiter's role as a planet of release can help that happen now, but since it's primary role is to expand what it touches, you're more likely to experience a new beginning that will come in the form of an opportunity. What kinds of opportunities? Again, it depends on your personal horoscope, but generally speaking, it's common for Jupiter/Sun conjunctions to coincide with opportunities for romance, travel and social activities. Since the Sun describes how you enjoy expressing yourself, this energy can bring creative inspiration, motivate you to engage in a sport or learn a musical instrument or introduce you to an entertaining new hobby or pastime. Even if nothing spectacular happens, this is an optimistic, confidence boosting, feel good energy that promises to lift your spirits and encourage you to pursue your dreams.

If you were born with Jupiter in Scorpio, at some point you'll experience your Jupiter return. A Jupiter return occurs when transiting Jupiter returns to the same place it occupies in your natal horoscope. Of all the planetary returns, this is the one that gets the most hype. Since Jupiter rules exaggeration, this is actually quite fitting, and truth be told, Jupiter often fails to deliver on grandiose promises. (See more on this below!)

So what can you really expect from your Jupiter return? I know you're tired of hearing this, but it really does depend on the condition of your natal Jupiter. If the position of your natal Jupiter and the aspects connected to it carry the potential for a huge financial windfall, there may be some bucks on the way. If not, don't count on your Jupiter return to bring you bundles of cash. Even if your return doesn't bring you a happy Jupiter surprise, it will still bring you a clean slate and another 12-year opportunity to make the most of its natal promise.

If you were born with Scorpio rising, at some point Jupiter will reach the degree of your Ascendant (it can be anywhere from 0° to 29°). This is the start of a major cycle of expansion for you, because for the next year (plus or minus) Jupiter will be moving through your first house. You can read more about this transit below.

As for the rest of you, let's take a look at some of the best that Jupiter has to offer for each of the 12 houses. If you don't know which house Jupiter will be visiting in your natal (birth) chart, use the Sun sign list below to find out which house will host Jupiter in your solar chart.

If your Sun sign is Aries, Jupiter will be in your solar 8th house.
If your Sun sign is Taurus, Jupiter will be in your solar 7th house.
If your Sun sign is Gemini, Jupiter will be in your solar 6th house
If your Sun sign is Cancer, Jupiter will be in your solar 5th house
If your Sun sign is Leo, Jupiter will be in your solar 4th house
If your Sun sign is Virgo, Jupiter will be in your solar 3rd house
If your Sun sign is Libra, Jupiter will be in your solar 2nd house.
If your Sun sign is Scorpio, Jupiter will be in your solar 1st house.
If your Sun sign is Sagittarius, Jupiter will be in your solar 12th house.
If your Sun sign is Capricorn, Jupiter will be in your solar  11th house.
If your Sun sign is Aquarius, Jupiter will be in your solar 10th house.
If your Sun sign is Pisces, Jupiter will be in your solar 9th house.

If transiting Jupiter in Scorpio will be in your

1st house: This is the start of a new cycle of expansion. While Jupiter is here, you can experience some fresh starts in your life. This transit is favorable for legal matters and is one of the best for personal relationships. If a new romance begins under this energy, it may be a keeper; those of you who have been dating for some time may decide to make it legal.  Opportunities to expand your life through travel, education and relocation may come your way. You're more likely to get what you ask for now, so don't be shy!

2nd house: There could be a salary increase while Jupiter is here. Since this is the house of money, you may decide it's time to add to your nest egg. Since Jupiter inspires generosity, you may find that spend more easily. If you've had your eye on a big purchase, odds are strong you'll do it now. On another note, the buoyant nature of Jupiter in the house of self-esteem suggests your self-worth may be due for a boost.

3rd house: This Jupiter cycle favors learning and all types of communications. Ideas and words tend to flow more easily; if you're a writer, this period can be very productive and negotiations may go better than usual. You might make a few short trips this year, and for some a new vehicle may be on the horizon. If so, it may cost more than you expect. There could be big news coming from a sibling, cousin or even a neighbor.

4th house: There may be serious talk of changing your home or office. Although it usually takes more than just Jupiter here to make it happen, if you make a move during this time it will probably be to a bigger space. Even if you don't move, there are likely to be some changes on the domestic front. Someone may move in, or you may decide to redecorate, remodel, plant a vegetable garden or do some serious landscaping. You could also find yourself interested in your family tree or become more involved in a parent life.

5th house:  When Jupiter comes to the 5th house, it usually brings some fun along with it. This cycle is about expanding your life through activities that bring you pleasure. There could be a new romance, or a rekindling of a current one, that makes you feel like you're 16 again. This transit is similar in nature (but not as strong) as Jupiter conjuncting the Sun in that it may inspire your creativity or lead you to discover new interests. Children may assume a more prominent role, and since this house rules pregnancy, be careful if having a baby isn't on your to do list.

6th house: If you're looking for a job, good news! While here, Jupiter supports job hunting; however, it's more likely to bring an opening for a lateral position. You can also count on Jupiter's assistance if you need to hire an employee, personal assistant, dog walker or any type of household help. Since this is the house of diet, exercise and nutrition, it can be a bit challenging to lose weight while the planet of excess is here. On the upside, this is a positive cycle for healing one's physical health, as well as for bringing a pet into the home.

7th house: Since this house rules marriage, business partners and close friends, Jupiter can bring one or more significant relationships into your life, and if any end under this transit, it's usually amicable. If
you're in a client-driven business, Jupiter can help you attract and cultivate clientele. Should you need assistance in any area of your life, get the word out because this energy can attract helpful people to you. This cycle also favors legal affairs and can give you an edge when dealing with adversaries and competitors.

8th house: During this time, money may come to you outside of a salary, such as client money, commissions, bonuses, royalties, gifts, lottery winnings and your partner's salary. Inheritances, trust distributions, pensions, social security, unemployment and other public assistance programs also fall in this category. Since this is the house of debt, be careful because you could accrue substantial debt while Jupiter is here. It's also possible that you could extinguish debt by paying it off or, depending on your circumstances, discharging it via bankruptcy. Income taxes live here as well, and the presence of Jupiter can coincide with a big refund or a big bill. On a positive note, scholarships, grants and financial aid fall in the 8th house, so if you're going to school, be sure to get your application in early, because Jupiter could coincide with a big award.

9th house: Opportunities for long-distance travel are common when Jupiter is here. Whether you're a student or a teacher, Jupiter is on your side now. If you or a family member are looking at colleges (as a student or an employee), a good opportunity may present itself from an out-of-state university. This is an excellent time to publish a book (or anything else that can be published such as a podcast or a website), and activities connected to marketing, law and broadcast media are favored now.

10th house: Jupiter is now at the top of your chart, and as it moves through the most visible sector of your horoscope, it can help you get noticed. This is an excellent cycle for promoting yourself. Although it's unlikely to bring earth-shattering success (that comes with Saturn), it can enhance your reputation through a new job, promotion or award. You may also have the opportunity to expand or improve your career through additional training or education. This transit can also coincide with an expanded new personal status, such as becoming a spouse, parent, grandparent or the owner of a new home or business.

11th house:  This is the house of casual friends, acquaintances and colleagues, and while Jupiter is here, your social life can increase substantially through opportunities to mix and mingle with like-minded people. If you've ever considered volunteering in any capacity, this transit can get you involved in a fun way. Likewise, if you're drawn to activism, this energy might get you out in the streets. Since this is also the house of hopes and goals, you can count on Jupiter to help you remember your dreams as well as inspire some new ones.

12th house: This is the last house before Jupiter comes to your Ascendant (first house) and begins a new 12-year cycle. As such, it's the one where Jupiter's gifts of release and vision are the most useful. After helping you release limiting thoughts and beliefs, it can help you replace them with a new vision. This cycle supports mind-body practices, as well as the development of creative, healing and intuitive abilities. While Jupiter is here, journaling may yield profound insights.

Avoiding a Jupiter Letdown

As the planet of luck, good fortune and abundance, it's no surprise that Jupiter inspires great expectations. However, it's also the planet of exaggeration, which is why there are times it comes along and you get nothing except the feeling that you've been the victim of a giant cosmic rip-off

There are a number of good reasons why Jupiter can disappoint and understanding them will help you manage your expectations and avoid a Jupiter letdown.

Planetary spoilers. A planetary spoiler is a competing transit that diminishes Jupiter's influence. In other words, there's another transit going on at the same time from a planet that's stronger (Saturn, Uranus, Neptune or Pluto) that speaks to the same matter (for example, money), but the influence of the stronger planet's aspect (connection) diminishes or negates Jupiter's promise.

Unrealistic expectations. The extent of any bonus triggered by a Jupiter transit depends upon the condition of the planet receiving it. Jupiter's role is to expand whatever promise the planet holds, and some of your planets hold more promise than others.

Free will (or what have you been doing up until now?) Every action that you've taken (or not taken) in the past has led you to this very moment in time. Jupiter may be poised to help expand your career or increase your income, but how much of a leap you make depends on what you've done until this point. Jupiter may bring an opening for the job you want, but if you never finished those last three credits for the required degree, it's just not going to happen.

You thought it would look like something else. It would be nice if all of Jupiter's gifts
appeared in an easily recognizable form such as a check or a winning lottery ticket, but the truth is Jupiter's good luck frequently comes in the form of an opportunity that requires some action on your part to make it blossom. It could be an invitation to a social event where you'll meet the love of your life or connect with a hiring manager who happens to be recruiting for your dream job.
Summing it up:  Hope for the best, but be realistic.  Even when Jupiter makes good on its promise, it doesn't always deliver a treasure right to your door. Sometimes it just alerts you to  an opportunity.
Last Words

During the coming year, Jupiter will bless some of you more than others, but make no mistake about it, your time as Jupiter's favorite will come. That's one of the benefits of planetary cycles. You see them coming, and you can use what you've learned from past cycles to make the most of the next one.

May Jupiter's blessings be your constant companion,
