| Dear Stargazers,
Months back, I wrote that I would be making a shift in my work at the mid-year mark, because it was time for me to move in the direction of my north node.
That time has come, and the information, announcement and offer in this newsletter being shared exclusively with you.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the north node, it's a sensitive point in the horoscope that reveals the soul's ultimate goal in this lifetime. The "catch" is that there's a lot of uncharted territory associated with it. That's why it often takes a long time to recognize it, and once we do, we tend to resist it because it represents the unknown.
There are of course exceptions, but generally speaking most people begin to recognize and/or gravitate to their north node calling in their 40's. While some embrace it right away, most resist it. In truth, there's no guarantee that we'll follow or fulfill our north node destiny, because while our souls choose the journey, it's our free will that determines how it plays out.
I explored my north node calling in 2010 and 2011 at mediumship workshops with psychic-medium Lisa Williams, but I continued to resist it. Why? Because I didn't want to follow a path that I feared would lead me back to the visions, terrors and hauntings of my youth.
As it happened, Spirit had other plans. |
| | SOMETIMES RESISTANCE IS FUTILE
My north node-neptune conjunction in Scorpio falls in my 6th house of work and service, and from 2013 - 2014, it was activated by Saturn, the eclipses and my progressed moon. Each contact coincided with increased psychic sensitivity. Once again, I was seeing and feeling spirits, but this time it was different because with few exceptions it wasn't frightening.
During this time, I began to receive messages, see angels and hear voices. I was being guided towards my north node destiny, but I had little interest in pursuing it. Although one family crisis after another in 2014 delayed their launch, my focus was on astrology classes, youtube videos and a new podcast. Plus, I was still afraid to go there. Yes, 99% of the time it felt safe and peaceful, but when that 1% struck, it was terrifying. Back then, the very thought of such work would literally make me nauseous.
In January 2015, I was working on astrology classes, outlining youtube videos and writing show notes for a new podcast. A few short weeks later, my mother made her transition and once again my plans came to a halt. Life as I knew it was over in more than one way.
Blocked by my grief, the spirit world was silent. By mid-2016, I was finally feeling like myself, and once again, the veil was lifted.
This time I willingly surrendered to it.

| | WHEN THE STUDENT IS READY, THE TEACHER(S) APPEAR
Once I surrendered, I believed I would be shown the way, and my faith wasn't misplaced. I listened to my inner voice and studied chakras, crystals and shamanism. I decided to pursue Reiki and the next day I met the perfect teacher for me. At the moment, I'm on track to become a Reiki Master and Teacher this year.
Just days later, I was finishing up a reading with a new client when she asked me if I would be able to connect with her father on the other side. No one had ever made such a request of me. I knew there was a reason this was happening, so I said "Let's see." I took a deep breath, invited him in and gave my first mediumship reading. Per my client's validation, I connected with her father.
Serving spirit in that capacity was one of the most soul satisfying experiences of my life, and on that fateful day, I finally embraced my north node and began giving mediumship readings.
Having a gift is one thing; developing it is another. I needed a teacher. Not just any teacher. I wanted an expert who also had integrity. In astrology, Saturn represents experts as well as integrity, and in my personal horoscope, it presides over my 9th house of teachers and higher knowledge. During my Saturn return, the celestial taskmaster delivered as I started training with Lisa Williams in a private mentorship program. |
| | GOING FORWARD
Although I'm moving towards my north node, I'm not leaving my south node (astrology) behind. My astrology practice remains unchanged except there's likely to be a longer wait time for appointments.
I still intend to offer MP3s and courses. As I'm sure you've already surmised, they've been delayed because I've been studying with Lisa as well as giving mediumship readings. And yes, I still hope to return to the air before the end of this year.
My astrology and mediumship practices will remain separate. At the present time, I am not announcing or promoting mediumship readings to the general public. This is an exclusive announcement for newsletter subscribers only.
In time to come, the mediumship practice will have its own website as well as its own newsletter, where I'll write about my experience with hauntings, house clearings (I did my first at 17) and assorted psychic phenomena and offer tips and guidance for discovering and developing your own intuitive gifts.

Finally, I just want to share that in 2012, spiritual medium Allie Cheslicktold me that I would one day be doing the same work that she did. I still remember rolling my eyes when she said it, because I thought it was insane.
Well, Allie was right, and several months before she passed, I told her so. I also promised that when the time came I went public with it, I would give her credit for seeing what no one else did. I always keep my promises, and now Allie knows that too.
