Dear Friend of America’s Survival:

The liberal media’s “Big Story” is Melania Trump plagiarizing Michelle Obama. That’s embarrassing enough. But that’s less important than the Trump people sabotaging a tough anti-Russian plank in the 2016 GOP platform.

You can read the platform here. Here’s the section at issue:

Josh Rogin documents how “The Trump campaign worked behind the scenes last week to make sure the new Republican platform won’t call for giving weapons to Ukraine to fight Russian and rebel forces, contradicting the view of almost all Republican foreign policy leaders in Washington.” This only confirms what I have feared for a long time – Trump is surrounded by pro-Russian advisers, including his convention manager Paul Manafort.

Rogin added, with documentation and quotes: “Republican delegates at last week’s national security committee platform meeting in Cleveland were surprised when the Trump campaign orchestrated a set of events to make sure that the GOP would not pledge to give Ukraine the weapons it has been asking for from the United States.”

Rogin noted that Diana Denman, a platform committee member from Texas who was a Ted Cruz supporter, proposed a platform amendment calling for “providing lethal defensive weapons” to the Ukrainian military. Trump’s people vetoed that, and put in the phrase “appropriate assistance.” That means Trump would continue Obama’s policy of providing Ukraine with junk and water bottles to fight the Russians.

The other major fiasco was that Melania Trump was followed to the podium by retired Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn, who sat next to Putin in Moscow at the 10th anniversary of the Russian propaganda channel RT.

Michael T. Flynn (head partly obscured) sits next to Vladimir Putin at the RT anniversary gala dinner. Who paid the bill for Flynn to fly to Moscow? As the former head of the Defense Intelligence Agency, Flynn has to know that RT is Moscow-funded disinformation.

Don’t be misled by the controversy over Melania Trump. The issue is Trump’s pro-Russia foreign policy.

We exposed Hillary Clinton as a security risk, and we have the duty and obligation to expose security concerns about the Trump campaign.
