Dear Friend of America’s Survival:

I’ve been a media analyst for almost 40 years. I saw the liberal media monopoly collapse. Now I’m seeing the conservative media collapse.  Breitbart News is losing staffers over the site being in the tank for Trump. Ann Coulter is in Trump’s camp. Matt Drudge is being criticized by conservatives for running a big story making fun of Cruz’s faith in God. Rush Limbaugh is straddling the fence and trying to be nice to all sides. His main interest seems to be listeners and ratings and increasing his net worth. He’s a personal friend of Trump.

South Florida gossip columnist Jose Lambiet reports that Rush Limbaugh, 61, and his wife, Kathryn, 35, were married in 2010, in a lavish ceremony highlighted by a private concert by Elton John at The Breakers in Palm Beach. Sir Elton performed for a $1million fee. Limbaugh has a fleet of limousines. Guests at his mansion include Matt Drudge and Ann Coulter.

Let me tell you something about Limbaugh. He claims to be a Reaganite and yet he never voted for Reagan. His “Institute for Advanced Conservative Studies” is a fiction that he uses on the air to sound important. It has less prestige than Trump University.

The reason I bring this up is that I was listening to the Rush Limbaugh show on Monday and heard a father call in to talk about going to a Trump rally with his two high-school-age sons. He said they were impressed by Trump’s airplane with the big name “TRUMP” on the side. They thought this was a symbol of success in life and was a reason to vote for the New York billionaire. Limbaugh didn’t disagree.

I know Limbaugh is a multi-millionaire. His house is worth at least $43 million. But I’m not impressed. The guy is working on his fourth marriage and almost went deaf because of his addiction to pain killers.

I have a different opinion. I want my sons to be successful. I’m sick of this lousy economy. But wealth like that of Trump doesn’t impress me. I think it’s more important how you treat people, and how you live your life.

The Atlantic magazine published an interesting piece, “Rush Limbaugh Is Cheating on Conservatism With Donald Trump.”

I recently wrote a column on a “Time for Choosing: Socialism or Fascism,” contrasting Sanders with Trump. When Reagan gave his 1964 speech on a “Time for Choosing,” he talked about the real choices we should be making. He said, “If we lose freedom here, there’s no place to escape to. This is the last stand on earth.”

We are planning to interview John L. Bowman on our TV show. John wrote a book on socialism in America. John’s next book is titled “Democracy and Why it Will Fail in America,” and he argues that democracies are rare, short, tend to go to extremes, and result in dictatorship. Are we in the last stages of American democracy?

New York Magazine notes that China’s state-owned Global Times has published an editorial that casts Trump as proof of democracy's inherent dangers. The magazine adds, “How strong can American democracy be if it’s elevating an authoritarian so brutal, he actually praised the Communist Party’s crackdown in Tiananmen Square?”

I believe conservatives have failed to explain their philosophy of life to the American people. We have certainly had no help from the educational establishment and academia.

Trump is not a conservative. But he’s typical of the problem we face. There has been a proliferation of fake conservatives manipulating the conservative base.

Tme is running short. I suggest watching the Reagan “Time for Choosing” speech. Click here.  In the end, the Republican Party may die. I think the Democratic Party will remain a vehicle for socialism in America. Get ready for what’s to come!
