Dear Friend of America's Survival:

Fox News and some of its analysts support Obama's (delayed) proposed strike on Syria. These include William Kristol and Karl Rove. On August 17, they sent a letter to Obama urging a military attack and made no mention of getting Congressional approval. That was not a conservative position. Obama has since said he wants Congressional approval.

This crisis demonstrates the need for an alternative to Fox News. The channel should not be viewed as the "conservative" alternative.  There are many conservatives who do not want to get into this war. I am one of them. We will discuss this controversy on Wednesday night on our Roku channel TV show at 9:00 p.m. EST. Be sure to watch, in order to get alternative news and information.

Gay activist James Kirchick of William Kristol's Foreign Policy Initiative group, appearing on the propaganda channel RT wearing rainbow suspenders. He wants to go to war with Syria. Does he also want to go to war with Russia over its law banning homosexual propaganda for kids? Who made this gay guy a foreign policy expert?

Here's some of what we will discuss:

One of the signers of that Kristol/Rove letter is Foreign Policy Initiative Fellow James Kirchick, who recently went on Russian TV channel RT wearing rainbow suspenders to argue for homosexual rights. This gay guy is a foreign policy expert? It would be funny were it not so serious.

You can read the letter and get the names of the signers here.

The letter to Obama on Syria seems to be a project of the Foreign Policy Initiative, of which Kristol is a board member. They are trying to give "conservative" cover for this disastrous course of action.

My friends, we must speak out against this push for war. The aim is to bring the Muslim Brotherhood to power in Syria. That is the objective of Obama and McCain and Al Jazeera. Kristol and Rove seem to think this is preferable to leaving the Assad regime in power.

What we should be doing is providing humanitarian aid to the Christians in Syria and the Middle East. By the way, the Christians in Syria prefer the Assad regime to the "rebels."

The military strikes will only cause more chaos and suffering. They might even lead to the dispersal of the chemical weapons to al Qaeda elements. These "rebels" may in fact already have them and may even have used them!

The 4-page Obama document justifying war against Syria is based in part on YouTube videos. Seriously.

It says, "We assess the Syrian opposition does not have the capability to fabricate all of the videos, physical symptoms verified by medical personnel and NGOs, and other information associated with this chemical attack."

So while some of the videos may have been fabricated, some of them may be legitimate.  This is evidence? This is the basis for war?

For background on the push to war and who is behind it, please read my column: Al Jazeera Favorite McCain Ignores Constitutional "Niceties" on Syria

Please take action. Protest to Fox News. Please contact Irena Briganti, Group Senior Vice President for Media Relations at Fox News Channel. Ask her to bring on conservative anti-war voices on Fox News:

If the House is to vote down the war against Syria, conservatives must let Fox News and the public know that the channel does not speak for them. We must demand that Fox present pro-American and anti-war conservative voices.

Fortunately, Rep. Dennis Ross (FL-15) is one member who is making sense. He attended a classified briefing on Sunday in Washington, D.C. and says he believes the regime used chemical weapons. This continues to be a matter of debate. What is critical, however, is that he also says, "After being briefed today, I continue to not support the use of military force in Syria at this time."

He says:

"What is the compelling national interest at stake that requires our military involvement? I have yet to learn of any exit strategy, or what may be the impact of retaliatory strikes by Assad against our allies. I believe that the most prudent option to resolve the conflict in Syria is to continue to work in a more concerted diplomatic manner with other countries in the region."

He is absolutely right. Help stop this madness.
