Dear Friend of America’s Survival:

President Trump violated his own Tweet when he launched missile strikes on Syria.

The strikes accomplish nothing, except get us deeper in a civil war.

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard said:

This Administration has acted recklessly without care or consideration of the dire consequences of the United States attack on Syria without waiting for the collection of evidence from the scene of the chemical poisoning. If President Assad is indeed guilty of this horrible chemical attack on innocent civilians, I will be the first to call for his prosecution and execution by the International Criminal Court. However, because of our attack on Syria, this investigation may now not even be possible. And without such evidence, a successful prosecution will be much harder.

It may sound harsh to say, but a chemical attack in Syria is not a threat to us. On the other hand, North Korea is testing a nuclear weapon that may be able to reach our homeland.

If we assume the Syrian regime did use nerve gas, it’s clear that Trump’s actions demonstrate that the real Russian agent in the oval office was Barack Obama, who made a deal with Vladimir Putin to “eliminate” Syria’s chemical weapons. It was another Obama lie.

I’m not ready to give up on Trump. But he has to understand the real danger is Russia, not Syria or Iran. The other danger is China, which is backing North Korea. At the same time, Congress should review Obama’s arming of the jihadists in Syria and investigate how this contributed to Russian intervention and 500,000 dead.  Click here to see a map from the New York Times on how Obama’s CIA sent arms to “rebels.” The media have known about this for a long time.

In effect, Obama armed one side of the civil war and then struck a deal with Russia that gave the appearance of having removed chemical weapons from the arsenal of the other side.

Into this mess steps Trump, with a quick missile strike. He gets applause from the media (for the first time) because their images of the injured and dead Syrians caused him to act.

Now what? More American soldiers in the Middle East? More American dollars to pay for nation-building?

Another trillion dollars or so?
