Air Quality Advisory
Sunday-Tuesday, November 18-20, 2012
Northeast Ohio: An Air Quality Advisory for fine particles has been issued for Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage and Summit Counties. The advisory will be effective from Sunday, November 18, 2012 through Tuesday, November 20, 2012. Air quality levels will be 'unhealthy for sensitive groups' during peak periods.
If you are in the 'Sensitive Groups' category of children, the elderly and those with breathing difficulties, please monitor your outdoor activity and check live map of air quality readings.
High pressure over Northeast Ohio along with temperature inversion conditions will result in haze and fine particle pollution. Breathing fine particles can aggravate asthma, bronchitis, and other chronic lung diseases.
