Air Quality Advisory
Friday & Saturday, August 24-25, 2012
Northeast Ohio: An Air Quality Advisory for ozone has been issued for Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage and Summit Counties. The advisory will be in effect on Friday & Saturday,  August 24-25, 2012. Air quality levels will be 'unhealthy for sensitive groups' during afternoon peak periods.
If you are in the 'Sensitive Groups' category of children, the elderly and those with breathing difficulties, please monitor your outdoor activity and check live map of air quality readings.
High pressure over Northeast Ohio will result in pollution accumulation during this period. Breathing ozone can trigger a variety of health problems including chest pain, coughing, throat irritation, and congestion.
