PayPal tactic like US Government?

Similar as the US Government tends to sneak in Draconian Legislation and terrible laws during the Holiday Season thinking it will go unnoticed, it seems that PayPal has chosen to use the same tactic with a DRASTIC increase in their Mass Payment Fees.

On Christmas Eve day we received a link of their changes to their terms which reads as follows:

  • Amendment to the PayPal User Agreement
Fee cap for Users who send Mass Payments. If you send Mass Payments, your fees are set out in Section 8 (Fees). Currently, your Mass Payment fees are 2% of each recipient’s payment amount up to a maximum of $1.00 USD per recipient, or the foreign currency equivalent of $1.00 USDas set out in Section 8.

After the effective date listed above, if you send Mass Payments within the U.S., your fees will remain the same. However, if you send Mass Payments outside the U.S., your fees will be 2% of each recipient’s payment amount up to a maximum of $20.00 USD per recipient, or the foreign currency equivalent of $20.00 USD as set out below.

Currency Mass Payment Fee
(sending outside the U.S.
Australian Dollar:  $24.00 AUD
Brazilian Real: 40.00 BRL
Canadian Dollar:  $24.00 CAD
Czech Koruna: 400.00 CZK
Danish Krone:  120.00 DKK
Euro:  €16.00 EUR
Hong Kong Dollar: $160.00 HKD
Hungarian Forint: 6000 HUF
Israeli Shekel: 80.00 ILS
Japanese Yen: ¥2,000 JPY
Mexican Peso: $300.00 MXN
New Zealand Dollar: $30.00 NZD
Norwegian Krone: 120.00 NOK
Philippine Peso: 1,000.00 PHP
Polish Zlotych: 60.00 PLN
Singapore Dollar: $32.00 SGD
Swedish Krona: 160.00 SEK
Swiss Franc: 20.00 CHF
Taiwan New Dollar:  800.00 TWD
Thai Baht: 800.00 THB
U.K. Pounds Sterling: £14.00 GBP
U.S. Dollars: $20.00 USD

A X20 increase in the fee for Mass Payments to certain individuals and companies - OUTRAGEOUS to say the least and how could they possibly justify this?

Merry Christmas from PayPal .....

Pennsylvania Joins Unconstitutional Crowd

Over the Christmas Holidays the State of Pennsylvania joined the other Greedy States to go after eCommerce companies offering affiliate programs to out of state residents rather then looking in their own back yard and giving themselves a pay DECREASE for shear incompetence.

In a letter sent to us from a Vendor we associated with:

We regret to inform you that we have to terminate our relationship with XXXXXX on CJ due to bill HB14 that was passed in Pennsylvania.

Once this law goes into effect, out-of-state retailers with Pennsylvania affiliates who refer sales from Pennsylvania purchasers will collect and remit sales tax.

Due to this new law, we will be officially severing our connection with you as of 12/30/11.

All orders up through that day will be paid out to you, but none after that date can be honored in order to maintain our PA tax exempt status.

What they failed to add to the letter but was with others is the key statement: They believe it is unconstitutional but choose not to pursue the matter due to legal fees.

Absolutely ridiculous that the injustice system is so expensive to challenge that these companies fold into these parasites without a fight.

If their was any justice in Amerika they would make the Law like here and so many other European Countries - Loser PAYS ALL

You read that right - in Amerika when you win you still lose - all the legal fees etc. that you paid - but not here in the land of the Free still ..... you sue me and lose and you WILL pay for my F. Lee Bailey Attorney and all other related expenses.

That would certainly put a cramp on the many injustices going on now in Amerika and in the Attorney Pockets too now wouldn't it?

Such Ignorant Scammers

and you wonder why we block Yahoo????

Today we received from some idiot scammer an email that was titled "The IRS has received a complaint against your Business"

Well idiots whom sent this, you cannot make a complaint to the IRS about any business.

Rendition of American Citizens Living within the United States to Other Countries for Torture

Why central planning has doomed us all

The U.S. is at war with this nation... But most Americans have no idea

From Washington's Blog:

Top experts – including the sponsors of the bill – say that the newly-passed National Defense Authorization Act authorizes indefinite detention of Americans living within the United States.

Top legal experts point out that the government claims the right to assassinate American citizens on U.S. soil without any charges, trial, or other constitutional protection.

I noted last month that Congress was considering repealing prohibitions against torture.

However, Mother Jones notes today that Congress has explicitly authorized rendition, allowing American Citizens on U.S. soil to be sent to other countries which do torture:

A defense spending bill that passed both houses of Congress overwhelmingly and is set to be signed by President Barack Obama as early as this week could make it easier for the government to transfer American terrorist suspects to foreign regimes and security forces.

The National Defense Authorization Act (PDF) contains a section that says the president has the power to...
From Zero Hedge:

In a must read Op-Ed in the WSJ, Mark Spitznagel, founder of "fat tail" focused hedge fund Universa, where Nassim Taleb has been known to dabble on occasion, explains the fundamental flaw with central planning, and specifically why "moral hazard" or the attempt to avoid the destructive part of natural cycles, is the greatest unnatural abomination ever conceived by man.

His visual explanation should be sufficient for even such grizzled academics who have no clue how the real world works, such as [Ben Bernanke], to comprehend why what he is doing is an epic abomination of every law of nature:

"Suppressing fire, creating the illusion of fire protection, leads to the wrong kind of growth, which then invites greater destruction.

About 100 years ago, the U.S. Forest Service took a zero-tolerance approach to forest fires, stamping them out at the first blaze.

Fast forward to 1988 when a massive wildfire at Yellowstone National Park wiped out more than 30 times the acreage of any previously recorded fire...

From STHFplan:

We are at war with China.

Most Americans don't realize it, and high level government officials will not admit it publicly...

But the Chinese are actively monitoring and compromising critical components of our nation's infrastructure, including water and electric utilities, military assets, and commerce.

While bullets and missiles may not be flying over conventional battlefields just yet, soldiers on the digital battlefield are no doubt engaged in conflict. ABC's George Stephanopoulos reports on the latest infiltration, which involved some three million accounts being compromised at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce:

There's a war going on every day that you may not know about, and today we learned a lot more about it.

China striking at the heart of our economy. Iconic American companies like Ford and Google – the Pentagon, too.

Spies from China have also infiltrated the computers of America's largest business organization. One with millions of members and they're stealing corporate secrets worth thousands of jobs and billions of dollars...
